So after going to a retirement seminar at work (yes, even 33 year old people worry about retirement and if your not....you need to start) and there was a number that I never really calculated in my head.

 

Before going to my full article I want you think of this scenario:

 

1) you had to retire today

2) you had to live for 20 years ONLY on your retirement fund

3) HOW MUCH would you need today liquid to retire?

 

So quickly calculate what you need per year to live (how you would like to live in retirement playing sports, going fishing, traveling...) times 20.
