If you run a homeschool co-op this is a great way to bring your students together on a shared end-of-the-year project. You can display the finished quilt in the neighborhood, from a church, or community center.
You can assemble the quilt one by one, or tape them to a colored sheet of paper. Each quilt square measures 5" x 5" so the finished project will be 25" x 25." However, you can really adapt this project to the size of your classroom, just change the shape of the quilt to reflect the number of students you have. Or have students color more than one square if needed.
