What is real power? What does it look like? Feel like? What is its sound? Where does it reside in your body? If you could name it what would that be? What color is it? What shape? What texture? What does real power make is possible in your life? What is you desired outcome when real power is
sourced?
I have been sitting with these inquiries opening my heart to receive what it is I am to learn about my real power. Once again, as synchronicity gently tapped me on my shoulder, these words from author Jeff Brown revealed themselves. I share them with you.
We are powerful beyond measure and so deeply vulnerable at the same time. This may seem like a dichotomy, but it isn't. We have misunderstood real power. It has been something assertive, non-surrendering, pushing on through. This is not real power. This is simply willfulness. Real power is
something else - receptivity, open-ness, the courage to keep your heart open on the darkest of days, the strength to feel it all even when the odds are stacked against you. Real power is showing up with your heart on your sleeve and absolutely refusing to waste one moment of your life hidden behind edginess and amour. The art of enheartened presence. Now that's real power!
No more need to be said. I have found my answer to my real power. How about you?
