Many dogs, especially older ones, have several lumps and bumps on their bodies. It could be alarming for dog parents to find a lump on their dog.
Fortunately, not all lumps and bumps are cancerous. Many dogs tend to have benign fatty tumors that usually don't grow quickly, and cause no pain.
If you find a
growth on your dog, it is important to get it checked out by a vet. If the growth is checked out to be a benign fatty tumor, usually nothing needs to be done.
You can however use some natural remedies topically and internally to try to
shrink the tumor. Visit this page to find out what you can use to help your dog.

Can Your Dog Eat Table Scraps?
|
For people living in the USA, Thanksgiving is fast approaching! Many people wonder if they can share some of their Thanksgiving foods with their dogs. After all, dogs are part of the family!
Indeed, many dog parents frequently ask the question, "Can I give table scraps or human foods to my dog?"
The answer is of course it depends on the food! Some human foods are actually healthy and good to give to our dogs, but some are not.
Read this page to see which foods are good, which are OK, and which are absolute No-No's for dogs.

Indigestion Essential Oil Blend
|
During the holiday season, some dog parents tend to be overly indulgent when it comes to giving foods and treats to their dogs.
Here is an essential oil blend that can ease nausea caused by indigestion in dogs: - 6 drops Cardamom EO
- 4 drops Sweet Orange EO
- 2 drops Peppermint EO (If your dog is pregnant, substitute Peppermint with Lavender or Roman Chamomile
EO)
Instructions: - Add the oils to 2 oz of carrier oil (e.g. jojoba oil, sweet almond oil). Blend well.
- Apply to dog's chest, back of neck, and belly as needed.

Hemp oil has a lot of therapeutic properties and since it doesn't contain THC (the psychoactive chemical component that makes you and your dog "high"), it is safe for dogs to use.
One therapeutic use of hemp oil is to control irregular cell growth. It can be used to help shrink fatty tumors in dogs.
Canna-Pet has high quality hemp oil products that are all lab tested to ensure the same high quality and consistency in each batch.
