'Earth's Garden'
by Steve Turnbull
Father and son have been hard at work in the studio feeding off each others' artistic energy. Steve has brought to life a truly stunning abstract series of stone and wood sculptures such as 'Tembo Tribute' and 'Earth's Garden', depicted above. This fossilized marble reflects the soft color tones of the earth from which it was sourced.
Gunnar Turnbull has returned to the studio to create a beautiful sculpture series. This series reflects the continuous flow and flux of life, as shown in 'Currents' below, made of laminated plywood on a limestone base.
Please email us if you would like specific images of either collection. [email protected]

Curly Mango
Kasha Style Ukulele
|
Jesse Mendez, born and raised here in Kahakuloa has made this striking instrument, which is a true joy to play. The beautiful ukulele is made of locally sourced curly mango wood, with a mahogany bridge and bone saddle and nut. It is a muse Kasha style uke that has a deep resonance and wonderful tone. The hole in the side allows the player to hear what the audience hears. Those who have played it have described
the experience as "pure butter" and is a true musician's dream. Below is a video of Kimo Hussey playing a similar Kasha style ukulele, which demonstrates the amazing tone this instrument can create. Please contact us if you are interested in this piece or know a musician who would appreciate the fine craftsmanship of this ukulele.
