Our
sculpture garden revitalization is in full swing. The garden has undergone a transformation with new sculptures such as 'Dancing Cats' by Jefferson Stillwell shown above, art installations, walkway corridor, and more! We will be planting indigenous island plants to surround the re-built old Hawaiian rock walls in the garden. Come take a stroll in the fresh air surrounded by great art!

We Welcome New Artist Beth Cooper
|
Beth Cooper's work brings a vibrancy and vitality which brightens and energizes our environment. Featured above is her original painting 'Strumming My Life with My Fingers', 27" x
35".
"Traveling to Tahiti, American Samoa, Australia, Canada, Nepal, the Greek and Marshall Islands, and around the U.S, has given me wonderful ideas for my art. There are some amazing artists I have found in some of the
smallest villages.
I never felt like I was confined to painting the grass green, the sky blue, or cows black and white. I decided, after not much pondering, that color is what makes the world go round.
I now live in Kihei, Maui. I keep busy with my paintings, printmaking, surfing, volunteering with different board of directors.
My work is found all over the U.S. as well as a few other countries. Purple coconut trees are found in Texas, hot sunny beaches are found in Canada, and tropical flowers and papayas are found in Tennessee and North Carolina to name a few places.
Come into my world of color! There really is a world where the grass is blue, the sky yellow, and the cows just might be pink! I hope you find yourself smiling when you're looking at my artwork!"

Introducing Multi-media Artist Rachael Holton
|
Inspired by varied textures and material Rachael creates layered multi-media artworks, which reflective qualities highlights the interconnected human experience.
"It's all about the texture!!! When I retired from the gallery business in 2014, I had a vision to create a new line of artwork that would involve multiple mediums, material that was shiny and carried its own light, a special texture that was underneath the image, and something that has never been done before in the art world.
This body of work is brand new method of fusing material, paint, leaf, and beautifully detailed images as the subject matter. I use my own photography to inspire the theme of my work. I tend to use gold, silver, and copper leaf because it brings forth a unique light, creating a moment of reflection and emotion, and movement throughout the day as the light changes. All of my pieces are original, and each original image changes in its own surrounding light and atmosphere.
The Winged Series [shown above] is a dedication to all of those beauties with wings! ... This series represents the spirits of our ancient ancestors and loved ones passed on, but who occasionally show up to remind us that they are not too far away."
