Wishing You a Happy 2023 from
Turnbull Fine Art!
For those of you who may not have been able to see this during the busy holiday season, we send this out to wish you all a wonderful new year!
This year was jam packed with renewed creativity. Our artists’ studios have been creating new and exciting work. Christine and Steve's new collection of sculptures in ceramic, wood, bronze, and stone are stunning. Christine’s pieces 'My Moment' and 'Rising Angel' have been featured in this year’s Excellence in 3D exhibit at Viewpoints Gallery, shown below.
Gunnar Turnbull, Steve and Christine’s eldest son and sculptor, has been hard at work in the studio this year. We are excited to share that Gunnar’s koa sculpture ‘Poise’, shown above, was showcased in the Hawaii Craftsmen Statewide exhibition, in which he won the
award for Emerging Artist! His work focuses on balance, rhythm, and flow, celebrating the organic nature of wood and stone. We currently have several of his pieces on display in the gallery.
The gallery is also featuring a new
series by multimedia artist Brad Huck, utilizing new encaustic techniques. Jeanne Bitz (previously known as Jeanne Young) also wows us with her newfound style honoring the Hawaiian culture and traditional canoe paddling, with her piece 'E Ala E' celebrating the new day and new beginnings.
As we journey into the new year, we wish for a wonderful and positive 2023 for us all!
Steve, Christine, Gunnar, Eli, and GracieTurnbull, with our most beloved Gallery Director....Arrianna!
