Diversity Needed in Leadership

Freedom is always the result of leadership, but of a special kind.

When the people lead, real freedom can occur.

When the people delegate their leadership to others, freedom declines.

One thing that seems to be lost in the recent publicity surrounding the Supreme Court is that nearly all members of the Court and top leaders in the Executive branch are graduates of Ivy League schools.

Same with Wall Street.

When the people delegate their leadership to any one group, no matter the group, freedom is in danger.

If the Court were made of entirely of dairy farmers, or retired Army generals, or paying members of the Lion's Club, or members of one church, or all from the same county in Northern Missouri, we would have the same problem.
