In Style Masters, we are digging into our color palettes and identifying our BEST colors. BEST is an acronym. Can you guess what it is?
E is for eye-poppin' colors. One of your most flattering colors can be your eye-poppin' colors. Your eye may have lots of colors but you're looking for colors to wear that enhance the
essence of your eyes. For example, my eyes have blue, light green, charcoal blue and some yellow. Wearing yellow won't make my eyes pop, but wearing mint green looks amazing on me and enhances my eyes.
What is the general color of your eyes? Green? Grey? Blue? Now, look at your color palette and choose a couple colors that will make your eyes look MORE of that
color.
If you have brown eyes or dark eyes, there will likely not be a color to wear that makes your EYES pop. You would instead find colors that make YOU pop. Very dark eyes = sharp bright colors. Brown eyes = purples can be an option.
There are more tricks
that we share in Style Masters, but I thought you'd enjoy this fun colorful tip!
Last week, we had our monthly Style Masters call. I shared how to create a cohesive color palette around your BEST colors and Gail shared practical and stylish tips on how to build your wardrobe in your BEST colors. I even used some of the members' photos to explain the concepts which they LOVED.
You can watch a preview of the call here.

People have strong feelings about florals, but I believe there is a floral to suit most everyone. From soft and romantic to bold, graphic, and edgy, florals can be a great pattern to add to your wardrobe. The colors in the prints can bring together solids in a look and add interest.
I have broken the categories of floral prints into watercolor, Asian, botanical, paisley, ditsy, traditional, and geometric. Now let's look at each one and see how they work best in a wardrobe.
April is all about learning how to work within your color palette. Your color palette is just your foundation. The next step is to learn how to identify your BEST colors within this color palette. How do you know your best neutrals? What strategies should you use to start building your wardrobe? How do you define
your signature color? What colors should I explore as my BEST colors? How do I pull all of these colors together to create a cohesive wardrobe? What colors might I want to remove or avoid?
