There will be a field trip following the PFC meeting October
20th to see various aspects of a tethered logging operation on the on the Rocky Goose GNA timber sale just north of McCall.
We will wrap up the PFC meeting by noon and head to the worksite. Anyone interested in going should bring lunch, water, and appropriate clothing and boots. You will
need to drive yourself there or carpool with others.
Hardhats will be required while at the worksite, so if you have one bring it. Forest Service will look into providing hardhats for those who don’t
have one. We will leave the site by 3:30-4:00 pm.
