Hi !
Facebook has
“privacy issues”. If you haven’t noticed before, this week made it very clear. Mark Zuckerberg came publicly to say he will take action after the Cambridge Analytica scandal. I saw the companie's CEO on stage at the Web Summit, 2017, with a pompous attitude, bragging about their influence in the outcome of elections and the great work they were doing. It seems now that not all was done according to the law. A little modesty never hurt, I say.
Other topics include the
passing of Stephen Hawkins, Tim Berners-Lee continued fight for the Web, transformation of the shopping experience, the slower move of technology, and Li-Fi (find out what is is).
Until next week, have a great weekend, and keep making things happen, Pedro Mendes
