Hi ,
Last week I took a week off as my schedule has been non-stop for the past 7 months and suddenly it
caught up with me.
I was dragging myself out of bed every morning and not giving my Self the care that I always advocate to others and then I realized that I needed to re-charge my batteries and walk the talk (so to speak) that I always tell
others to do.
Have you ever been in this situation?
I went down to Cornwall to get away from everything and decided to sort myself out.
I meditated every morning and ate well and drank copious amounts of water, slept and generally
cleared my mind.
Initially I felt guilty for not holding things together but I am a true believer that your body tells you when you are close to burnout and you need to take time to stop and evaluate things.
During my time on my own I refocused and concentrated on my thoughts. Every time I had a negative thought I flipped it and turned it into a positive. Every time I felt sorry for myself I flipped it and accepted that this is simply part of life’s richness so I could learn
to develop myself more.
I returned feeling rested and well.
Thank you for your amazing response to my previous newsletter where I shared 25 facts about myself and lots of you told me how much you appreciated getting to know me in ways that were completely unrelated to fitness and wellbeing.
I’d love to hear more about your life and learn more about you so don’t be shy in contacting me and sharing your life story.
