I.D.W.I.T.
I Do Whatever It Takes
What a great motto to live by!
This is definitely the attitude that I live by when I have set myself a goal.
If you want to lose weight it can be so easy just to sit down in front of the TV and try to wish away the extra pounds. We know that wishing doesn’t really do much for
those excess inches and you need to have a plan.
Life is so much easier when you have someone to be accountable to and I am here to be that person – you only have to ask.
What you eat accounts for 75-80% of results for weight loss and exercise is really only the extra 20-25%. This is the time of year when the weather is warming up and our attention is brought to the fact that we want to look great in our spring/summer clothes.
Here are 5 tips to get you started if you feel the need to kick-start your toning program for spring.
1. Increase your intake of water until you are drinking approximately 1 litre for every 50lbs you weigh.
2.
Increase your alkalizing foods to break down the acid in your system so your fat stores can be lost much more easily. Eating green leafy greens is the obvious however I would also recommend a drink of hot lemon first thing every morning. Just slice up a lemon, give it a gentle squeeze into your cup and pour hot water on (not boiling).
3. Cut down on wheat. Better still, lose the wheat out of your diet altogether. Wheat is a food that causes most of us inflammation and this hampers weight loss massively.
4. Get enough sleep. When you sleep your fat burning hormones get to work
as they begin to repair your system. If you go to bed too late (i.e. after 11pm) every night and end your day by watching the TV your body is in a heightened state and this will definitely impact your sleep patterns. Your hormones work in synergy with the sun and the moon so by going to bed too late you are inhibiting the full use of your ‘repairing’ hormones.
5. Sign up for a FREE TRIAL for one of the Regan Method Boot camps. There are now 5 to choose from in Fittleworth, Pulborough and BIllingshurst at various times of the day.
