Golden rules for during the PMP Exam… and for life.
We'd like to share with you this PMP Exam article written by Antonio de los Campos. This was originally posted on Linkedin.

1.  Pay Attention.
Read the instructions carefully. Read each question carefully as well as all the options and answers with your undivided attention. Don’t make assumptions and don’t decide what the answer is without fully understanding the question (try to separate the decision making process and the understanding process into two separate processes). First observe, then decide.

 2.  Think Big.
Most students who currently manage small projects have trouble making sense of the techniques and tools they have acquired. Don’t think about what you’ve already done, think about how the things you’ve learnt could be used on a much larger scale.

Wanted: PMP Exam Study Partner
Image
One of our PM PrepCast student, Dana Anderson is looking for a PMP Exam study partner. She posted the following message below in our forum:

Hi,

I recently invested in the PrepCast and am beginning to feel my self-motivation depleting.

I am on session 5, only reaching 68% in my tests, so I would like to reach out to anyone who plans to take their exam within the next 8-10 weeks. Sincere accountability goes a long way.

I don't see recent posts to this blog (less than 1 year), but I thought I'd send this out with the hopes that Karma will be in my favor.

In the name of professional achievement, I remain.

Sincerely,
Dana

Student Success Story - Ravikant Totade, PMP
"...My recommendation in the last week before the exam:
1) At least 3 exams of 4 hours as if final exam. Do not overdose with lot of exams since it will take away 4 hours of your precious study / revision time.

2) Revise all chapters (rapid revision) using PMP Exam Prep Essentials Study Guide (from PM PrepCast). It is brief but covers entire content. Write down ITTO tables again and again..."
