For your Project Management Professional (PMP)® Exam
Help Oliver Lehmann with the Research of his next Book
Oliver Lehmann is working on his next book and needs some data that no one has collected so far. He would appreciate it very much if you would be prepared to help and answer a very brief one-page survey, 2 to 4 questions only; it can be finished in less than a minute.

This micro-survey is fully anonymous, however, if you wish to see the results, you can leave your e-mail address. Interested? Oliver will be happy to see your responses.

PS: An example for what he makes from such data is at Customer Projects: What is the Future of the Business?

Student Profile: Kerry Soltysinski, PMP
"I wanted to let you know that I passed my PMP exam today!!  I'm still a bit overwhelmed, but I'm sure it will set in soon!!  I sat there, my heart beating a mile a minute...then, to see the "Congratulations..." was such a relief (as compared to the "Unfortunately...").

As you know, this was not my first attempt, but rather my third (and last shot for this application).  After my second attempt, I had to step back and assess what can I could do different for the next time because what I was doing wasn't working (obviously).

Right after I got home after my second failed attempt, I got online and first wanted to know how many people fail it twice (had to see how I compared - that's just me though).  Then, I started reading about how important it was to take practice exams.

That was one key thing that I did not focus on and one thing that I could do different to improve.  I did comparisons of many simulators.  When I came across the PM Simulator by Cornelius Fichtner, I jumped right on it and got the simulator the very same day.

I took some time before I activated it.  What was great was the free 30 minute coaching session (another thing I could do differently).  That is where I was introduced to you.  From there, I joined the 6 week online training course.  This really helped me to look at questions and apply logic differently.

Your guidance and help, and applying that to the practice exams in the simulator is exactly what I needed to do differently to finally "get it."

Perseverance and hard work is key, but I couldn't of done it without your help, so thank you!!"

Student Testimonial: Dave Burrows, PMP
"... I used many other free resources on the web and some paid for for PMP exam preparation, but The PMP® Exam Prep Essentials Study Guide sticks out head and shoulders.

The materials I used for on ITTO, memory jogger, the brain dump the timed quizzes and mock exams are most certainly strong contributors to both my plan of attack for doing the exam and that I managed to pass it, first time."

Lessons Learned from Thracy Varvoglis, PMP
Lessons learned towards becoming a Project Management Professional (PMP)® shared to us by Thracy Varvoglis, PMP.

"I decided to pursue my PMP® after more than tens of thousands of hours leading, working in and developing countless projects and programs. Total time in grade ( as we service veterans would say) exceeds 40 years. I never thought much about the need to secure the credential of a PMP® until I failed the first time in July of 2016 and passed the second time in January of 2017. The absolute feeling of accomplishment for an old guy like me is overwhelming. I would offer several lessons learned about the journey..."
