I know that not everyone looks forward their birthday. But I count each one as a celebration of success, victory, grace, abundant blessings, and life experienced; From joys, sorrows, hardships, abundant blessings, tears, pain, laughter, friendship, and love. Life is a wonderful gift and it is something to be experienced with exuberance! If the recent pandemic has taught each of us anything it is not to take even on day for granted.

    I am so blessed to enjoy Kater's Acres and my sculpting studio, especially since we took the time and opportunity to redo it this year. The gorgeous new layout, paint, valances, and explosion of Katie-ness everywhere is pure delight for me. I still love working with polymer clay, teaching so many of you, and sharing in your joys, endeavors, successes, and yes ... even your failures.

    If you haven't been over to the FaceBook Group lately, you are missing out on the many ways we are staying knit together as a community of people with our Thriving Tuesday & Thankful Thursdays. If you desire a community that will encourage you both in your polymer work and as people, then I hope you would come and join us.

    I know to many of you I seem "young" and yet to others I seem "old." Well, age is just a number, and more than that it's where your heart is. Age is how we handle our years, our time, and what we do with them. It's how we connect with each other, our friends and family, and how we spend those years that count.

     If you haven't taken time to sit back and decide what you want your life to look like and carve out that path, I pray that you do. Find contentment, peace, joy and love that you desire. Thank you for being a part of my life!
