Why Celebrate Passover?

There's much to be said about why Christians should or shouldn't celebrate PASSOVER. But the fact of the matter is, PASSOVER is apart of Jesus' story. When He was breaking bread with his disciples, history shows that He was observing Passover.

Years ago, I had a dream regarding the PASSOVER LAMB that prompted me to get educated on THE FEASTS OF THE LORD.

Normally it falls right around RESURRECTION SUNDAY. However, because of this being a LEAP year, it's roughly 30 days later. Check Out Dr. Sharon Nesbitt's broadcast to find out more ...

Evening of Monday, April 22, 2024 – Tuesday, April 30, 2024

Passover, in Judaism, is a holiday commemorating the Hebrews' liberation from slavery in Egypt and the “passing over” of the force of destruction and the sparing of the firstborn of Israel. To protect their first-born children, the Israelites marked their doors with lamb's blood so the angel of death would pass over them. Thus the name Passover, which is “pesach” in Hebrew. The Israelites were ultimately freed from slavery and wandered the desert for 40 years before entering the promise land.

Some Christians observe the celebration of Passover with a connection of Jesus’ Last Supper. (Matthew 27:46–50, Mark 15:34–37, Luke 23:44–46)
