Volume 8 - Issue 6

Dear ,

The intention of today's issue of Picture to Ponder is meant to give you a refreshing break in Nature through photographs from two recent, bright sunny days with two, presumably different, Cormorants.

I initially planned to introduce you to the new direction in which I am going with my business in the arena of relationships and communication, acknowledging, treasuring and ensuring a legacy of love. Then instead of using Picture to Ponder, I decided to do a separate explanatory email with a special offer for the first five subscribers who respond, expressing interest.

If you are in a long-term marriage or relationship that might want rekindling, bringing the wonder and magic of the past to the present and beyond, be sure to look for and open the email. Subject line will include "Love With No Regrets."

And, if you are always curious like I am and want "instant" answers, you can take a peek at ReIgnite Your Love. The page right now is basically a very rough first draft and the history and offer is not on that page.

Now on to Today's Photos -

cormorant on boardwalk observing landscape at Wakodahatchee Wetlands
Wind open spaces in Wakodahatchee Wetlands

cormorant head - closeup in Wakodahatchee Wetlands
This Cormorant was at peace and open
to all passersby taking his photo

cormorant and another view of Wakodahatchee Landscape
A different day - Uncommonly cloudless,
deep blue sky (No Photoshop alterations)

cormorant texture in wings matches texture in landscape
Same Cormorant as right above, included here mainly
because I'm enjoying the repetition of textures in the
bird's wings as in the landscape.

Self-Reflecting Queries -
Very often in life, we add meaning to situations and scenarios. I could stretch myself and do that here today and I am choosing a break from it. Of course, if you so wish, you are more than welcome to add the meaning and interpretations to the birds and scenes above. If you go this path, please share on the blog.

On the other hand, you can simply enjoy the photos and reflect on what brings you peace. Nature? Inside? Outdoors? People? a Good Book? TV? Movies? a Good conversation? Or ????

Do you have a structure for keeping that in place, or is it hit or miss for you?

Obviously for me, walking in Nature is one of the "biggies" and I am blessed to live so close to great Nature spots, enjoying good weather most of the year.

There was a time, when I lived in the Northeast and was doing photo/drawings of varied subjects, that people would tell me they would often take a relaxation break during the day, five or ten minutes, and wander through some of the images on Nature's Playground. When you click on any one of the thumbnails, you can navigate through the rest by using the arrows under the enlarged image.

And now, of course, there are also all the photographs within the posts on the Photography and Transformation blog.

As always have fun with the photos and queries and please share your experience with us on the blog.

Reader's Comments are welcome -
To post them on the Photography and Transformation blog click on the small word "Comment" at the end of NY post. A window will open, asking for your name, email address that will NOT be published, a URL if you have - Your name will be linked to that - and a box with space for you to "Leave a Reply" will be there to type in your response. Then remember to click on "Submit."

If posting on a blog is not your style, please continue to send your comments directly to me. Learning what you are experiencing means a lot. It is part of the reward, for me, of publishing Picture to Ponder.
