Dear ,

Announcing the re-launching of the Through and From The Lens telecourse: Using Your Camera to See in New and Expanded Ways. Please check out the information after today's queries and tips.

It's been a very busy two weeks. More than likely it's been the same for you. Found in one of last year's issues of Picture to Ponder, today's photos are about relaxing. Taking the latter path, I am merely revising and republishing the content. I came across the issue prior to a "Questions on Getting Unstuck" Complimentary Session (see below) with one of our long-time subscribers. When I get a request I usually check to see if the person is a subscriber and if he/she has written any comments in the past.

The latter woman, in fact, had. The Lisianthus flowers below are among those she had noted. When I went to the issue, I immediately stopped to "bathe" myself in the simplicity and beauty of the flowers.

I noted that then I had invited you, as I do now, to take some time to simply breathe in the beauty of the images below.

Today's Photos
as, stated above, are of Purple Lisianthus.

Last year I noted that I had featured Pink Lysianthus in an issue the previous month. That post has the whole story of what the Lisianthus has represented in my life, its contribution and the memories they evoke. You can read it and see those flowers by clicking on Pink Lisianthus.

Self-Reflecting Queries and Relationship Tips-
These flowers seem to invite looking at the subtleties and gentle areas in your life. The fourth one down feels silky to me.

What are the textures of your life? Where are they smooth? And, when there are rough patches how do THEY feel?

Note - As I reviewed this issue in my own email box, before sending it, I realized I made assumptions throughout. Mainly were those that you, too would find the images quiet and beautiful.

Underneath this was the assumption that you, too, would enjoy the colors and respond similarly to the flowers.   It did finally occur to me, before sending this out, that, in fact, none of the above might fit for you.

Thus, I invite you to look at your life and check. Are there areas where your actions are based on the assumption that others with whom you are interacting are on the "same page?" If that's a possibility, I invite you to "play" with this and check it out.

It might be fun to share these photos with someone else in your life, compare initial experiences and then their answers to your questions.

That's also an opportunity to compare thoughts and/or feelings on flowers as gifts. I invite you also to create some time to share memories.

As always, have fun, and please post what comes up for you in the Comments section of the blog.
