Closed - Hiding?

The participants in the small writing group in which I participate weekly encouraged me to post my response to a quote. Although I'm still not quite sure why, I'll trust in their knowing. They felt that many readers might relate, having similar doubts and questions.
I was late getting on the call so I picked up on a portion of the quote only. At the end I will provide the full quote and link to the totally different response, beautifully written, by my friend Morgine Jurdan.
"What was closed will open and take on a voice...."
"As I be with these words I wonder what in me has been closed, waiting to be opened, to take on a voice.
Are there different forms of love within me that have been closed? Might they take on a voice on the Three Days of Expressing Love program [See program link in Relationship Tips]? What would that voice be?
I speak of and write of love. Is there a missing piece?
Even thinking that something within me might be closed sets up some fears. What are they?
Of what am I afraid? What IS the voice within me that might still be remaining silent?
Silent because it is/was stifled in the past? Silent because of fear? If so, what might the fear be?
There always seems to be that underlying fear of not being liked.
And I suspect there might even be something bigger if there IS something REALLY closed, yet to be open, yet to take on a voice."

Today's Photos
Flamingos at Dreher Park Zoo in West Palm Beach, FL. I planned to use one or more of my photos from an outing this past weekend. It seemed somewhat fitting to use the flamingo photos for what became the topic for today.
The postures these birds take are amazing. Although the flamingo in the third photos is open it looks like he/she could still be looking for his/her voice.

3 Days of Love - Relationship Tip -
Shortly before I called into my writing class I had visited this 3 Days of Love page. Thus I believe the subconscious reference to it in my writing featured above.
On the site I had read that
a multitude of leaders have set December 20-22, 2012 for people to "create an unprecedented experience of global family!" The site states:
Dec. 21st ends a long cycle in the Myan calendar and 22nd begins Day One - the birth of a new cycle. Let's begin his new era with a spirit of love, generosity and friendship."
Individuals are invited to participate by signing a pledge:
"From Dec.20-22 make your every word and action one that expresses love, from emails to Facebook posts to your spoken words, and actions."
As I write now, the sign up spaces are not working on my computer. I invite you to visit and bookmark the page to go back to it.
In the meantime, for today's Relationship tip, I invite you to consider making all of your words and actions, at any time, be ones of expressions of love.
