Dear ,

The other morning, I stopped short as I started walking through my living room. My eyes unexpectedly caught the dazzling lights I suddenly saw sparkling on the walls, ceiling and floor.

Picture to Ponder/Treasure Your Life Now subscribers were the first ones who popped into my thoughts when I thought of sharing. It felt like it was all about "Being in the Moment, Capturing the Present"... that about which I have written so often during the past 10 years.

Then when I finally sat down to put this issue together, I became almost shocked that it's been almost 4 months!!! since I've done a mailing. The last issue was published the day of my 75th birthday in December.

And, no, it's not "old age" creeping up on me that has had me be so, seemingly, forgetful. Time passes so quickly and I get caught up in all kinds of activities and projects, as I know you do too. Fortunately for me, and I hope for you, it's all been good.

During this time period, I completed and launched my first book on Amazon Kindle... very excited and it went to Best Seller... #4 in one of the categories for a short time. See below for details.

First, back to Today's Photos - Description:
The light sparkles came from morning sunlight penetrating and reflecting from the glazing ball [top photo] on the table. The ball is actually in the middle of the intense light you see there.

This happening, all of about 5 minutes, is not a daily occurrence... It's dependent in part, I think, on time of year and the position of the sun in relation to the window high above a door that's across the room from where the glazing ball sits; then there are clouds and other factors, I assume, that effect the morning light show.

And, ultimately, will I be physically and intentionally present at the exact right time? Will I take notice?

Self-Reflecting Queries:
For this issue, I invite you take take on noticing how often you are "present".

Do you usually pay attention to your physical surroundings? Is there any aspect of that to which you may pay more attention? Natural Objects? Mechanical? Color? Order? Disorder? People?

Which of your senses is most predominant? Visual? Auditory? Taste? Touch? Smell?

I invite you for the next day or two, and beyond, to take some time each day to actually pay more attention to each of these senses than you ordinarily do. Be mindful when you eat. As I was writing this, I noticed, after the fact, that I hadn't even tasted something I had just eaten. It went into my mouth simply to satisfy some frustration and indecisiveness.

As you're practicing this, notice also what new opens up for you. See also, Concluding Comments at the end for my last message for this issue.

Then, I'd love you to share your experiences of the photos and of being mindful. Please do so by leaving a comment in the "Leave a Reply" section below this post on the Blog or simply reply to this email.

Now, more on my news..
Amazon Kindle Book - Real Seniors Using iPads:

Real Seniors Using iPads - Hot New Release

This book's appeal goes beyond iPad users and wanna be's. I interviewed 31 seniors between the ages of 66 and 100 (now 101). Twenty-nine  of them do have an iPad or iPhone. One uses a Kindle Fire only and Helene, age 100, though not a mobile device user, has used the computer for years. I couldn't miss the opportunity of interviewing her after having been introduced.

The stories are inspiring, whether you are a senior and/or have a parent or friend who fits in that age bracket. You'll find some really interesting things that some of the contributors are doing in their lives. And, I was amazed that these 20 iDevice owners are using 178 different apps, very few of which are games!

One person wrote to me and asked, "Where did you find such interesting people?"

There are twelve five-star reviews on the Amazon site now and other readers have written to me directly. Most of the Apps that the contributors are using can also be downloaded onto any of the Android phones and tablets.

I invite you to click on REAL SENIORS USING IPADS and go to Amazon. Have a "look inside". In addition to the Interviews and Apps list, there are some Tips and Tutorials, as well as my story and more.

In Conclusion, going back to Today's Photos:
In invite you to explode your world with the light that shines from within you. Focus and expand!
