I do apologize for not describing more in the last mailing. Given, emotionally, I was in the space of missing my late husband on the anniversary of our wedding date, I focused on using Evernote for preserving memories.

I neglected explaining some of the more basic benefits to you.

Evernote is my main, go-to program for almost anything I write since any notes I make will be synchronized and in my computer, iPhone and iPad.

Some of the things you can do with Evernote:

1 - Simple written notes for anything we want to remember

2 - Recorded Notes

3 - Notes that include photos and other attachments

One feature I use almost daily, sometime several times a day:

4 - the free Evernote Webclipper which captures Web pages - the URLs, full page, or the article only

5 - Organizing "paperwork" in folders and by "Tagging", so I can go back and search.

ADDED CAVEAT - A SHARED NOTEBOOK


Early this summer, I hired my granddaughter to transcribe some of the interviews I had recorded for my upcoming Kindle book on Seniors Using iPad.

I was able to share a notebook with her, hundreds of miles away. In it were individual notes with the interview recordings I had done as well as notes.

Kaitlyn listened and typed the interviews on her end in a new note for each.

I then read them, taking each one separately from our shared folder to continue what was to be done on my end.
