"Bird Dropping Bird" from a walking exercise I once did. The assignment was to pay attention to the first thing we saw. Then walk for 15 minutes looking for similar images only.

 

"Setting an Intention" when we walk is another way of freeing up our minds as we move around.... so long as we do NOT have a predetermined result in mind. It's an opportunity to make space for new ideas or resolve current challenges.

 

Earlier this week I went for a walk with the intention to find something "beautiful". Underneath it all, I think I had set the expectation of discovering a beautiful flower.  Nothing was showing up.

 

After a while, as I was continued walking along the Wetlands boardwalk where I customarily go, I paused, looked around at the rippling water and all the beauty and calm in that scene.

 

Being inspired and content with what was beautiful in the "familiar" gave me all that I looking for.
