Hi, .
NOTE: Being able to quickly learn the identity of the flower in the above photo is my exciting discovery this week. I explain further down.

How much of today’s technology makes your life easier and adds joy and fulfillmentto it?
I experienced both, yesterday, when the author of a soon-to-published book,“Humanizing Technology,” called to let me know how much he appreciated thechapter I had contributed to it several months ago.
After our conversation I pulled it up in my computer. I had written:
“For me the “human” aspect of it is the ability to EASILY connect with all the pieces and systems available to make our lives easier and safer, once we educate ourselves.
The foundation of my life is Connecting – Communicating – Creating – teaching and supporting others to do just that.I, personally, thrive on my curiosity, discovering and finding answers to challenges I come across and those that others bring to me when they ask for my help.
From experiences I’ve had in talking with people resistant to technology, most of it comes from the fear of losing their privacy and their money.
When open to a conversation, my aim is to first uncover, with them, what is important to them in living their lives. Fun…Learning…Fulfillment… Connection with loved ones…Family members…Friends? ”

The latter, and whatever else is important to them to know and experience, is part of the
initialconversation I have with anyone who enrolls in one or more coaching sessions with me, including those who receive the Gift
Certificate for Tech Coachingdescribed at the end of this email.

In the past two emails, I elaborated on and gave examples of myrecent discoveries, particularly when
simply saying “Hey, Siri” (on my iPhone) and asking a question.“Hey, Google” and “Ok, Google” do the same, or similar, on Android phones.
The first email highlighted,
discovering how I, who do not enjoy watching sports games, discovered I could easily stay connected with my sons and grandsons who are passionate about them.
With a simple question to “Hey Siri” (or for Android users, “Hey, Google”
or “Ok, Google”, I get to read and hear the scores, status, etc. with “her” voice commentary.
Included in the email are visual examples, something
I ALWAYS include when I am coaching and teaching.
I also list in that email, the ways “Siri” has added ease and efficiency to my life.If you missed seeing that email you can check it out in the Archives. Tap/Click on https://archive.aweber.com/ptp-subscribers/AhJ1Q

The most recent email shared my latest exciting discovery. With default apps on iPhone and Android phones, we can use a photo we takeof a
flower or plant and quickly learn its identity. Siri adds links to learn more if we wish.
There is no need to go to the App stores and download another app, which often requires a subscription.
With a photo and screenshots, I show you the 3 simple steps, staying in Photos on your iPhone. I name the default app you'd use in an Android phone.
If any of the above resonates with you, regarding a dear family member or friend, including yourself, I’m offering the opportunity for you to give a Gift Certificate for Tech Coaching to someone who might be tech challenged, or simply wants to learn more.
Amongst areas that can be covered,
in addition to efficiency with the phone, are:
using Zoom,
photos and photo editing and sharing,
capturing stories,
creating and sharing videos, leaving a legacy,
and much more.
The coaching is individually tailored to the recipient and whatever you/she/he want/s need/s.
See the Tech Gift Certificatepage for how to order, more details and an image of the Gift Certificate.
As always, thank you for being in my life. I greatly appreciate you.
