Hi
An author in one of my Facebook groups said he has been writing his book for 6 years and he's finding it hard to stop.
I just shook my head. All that time time wasted.
If you want to write a nonfiction book, please don't fall into the same trap he's in. Or you'll drive yourself crazy and leave money on the table.
One of the best ways to write quickly is to gather existing material on your book topic from your blog posts, social media sharing, speeches, PowerPoint slides, training sessions, and White Papers. Make sure it's your content. Then start updating it.
Tomorrow--Tuesday, April 20--you can learn more tips on how to write a nonfiction book super-fast from Debby Englander, an editor for major publishers Macmillan and John Wiley & Sons. Debbie has been behind the curtain of 17 bestselling nonfiction books, including 9 on the New York Times Best Seller List.
She will be Steve Harrison's guest during a free web class at your choice of three times: 2 pm Eastern, 7 pm Eastern or 10 pm Eastern. It's called "Bionic Book Writing: How to Write a Better Book, Faster Than You Imagined and Have Much Stronger Appeal to Potential Buyers."
Register for the free class using this affiliate link.
You will learn:
--What to do right from the start so you finish in record time. Most authors miss this!
--How to identify your own "publishing personality" that will determine how you prepare and write your book.
--4 ways to make your book more media-genic and get publicity from radio, TV, print media, bloggers and social media channels.
--Tips for avoiding the agony of wanting to quit when you feel stuck or confused, and continue writing pain-free.
--How to land a deal with a major publisher. Debbie will tell you what works and what doesn't.
--A proven technique for contacting celebrities and other famous people and securing an endorsement for your book. This is huge! An endorsement is instant credibility that can lead to a gusher of sales.

P. S. If you have several years to devote to writing your book, go for it. But if you'd rather get it done so you can start selling it, and enjoy time with your family, friends and hobbies, do NOT miss this class. Register here.
