The Riding Diary Newsletter - Issue 3 - 2nd May 2016
Hi
Welcome to the latest Riding Diary Newsletter.

I hope you have had a good Bank Holiday weekend and that you have been able to get out and about with your horse without getting too wet.

The selection of events from the Riding Diary this week include a new Fun Ride taking place in the Royal Park, Windsor, and also an authentic Cowboy Clinic!

You can find  details of these events and thousands more on the Riding Diary.  Having trouble finding events in your area? Let me know where you are based and we'll try and find more.

Now we are in May, fingers crossed for more settled weather and we can all enjoy the fabulous events that clubs, venues and organisations are running this year.

It is the second year running for the Fonthill Ride on Sunday 22 MayWILTSHIRE. This is a pleasure ride through the beautiful private Fonthill estate which is not normally open to the general public but has been opened up for the occasion by the kind permission of Lord and Lady Margadale.  It is organised by The British Horse Society Wiltshire group to raise funds for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance and the BHS Wiltshire Access fund to keep bridleways open.  It is just one of a number of events and initiatives run locally in Wiltshire by the group with the aim of helping you enjoy your life with horses.  It is open to members and non-members alike and the Last pre entry date is Friday 13th May but entries will be taken on the day (cash only).  This is the second year of running and, for those who came last year, there is now new parking offering easier, quicker parking on a big open flat field.  Last year, Donna Mounty, a previous rider, said on Facebook of the inaugural Fonthill Ride "it's the best ride ever".  BHS Wiltshire look forward to seeing you there.
