The very new TREC Riders Club are holding several different TREC events in DEVON during May starting with TREC Judges Training on Sunday 1st May.  This offers people a fantastic opportunity to learn more about how TREC is scored and therefore how to maximise their points when competing. So even if you don't want to become a judge you can still come along and benefit.
Then there is  POR training on Sunday 15th MAY which is classroom based "understanding" POR & orienteering for TREC with map reading tips followed by on foot practice.
On Sunday 29th May there is the first of their TREC Training and Versatile Horse TREC Competitions. These are 3 phase competitions [Obstacles, MA and an obedience test] that really test the accord between horse and rider so great preparation for FULL TREC. The obedience test is also a great way for people who find dressage stressful to test their riding accuracy and not a white numnah, stock or plait in sight!
