3The Riding Diary Newsletter - Issue 4 - 13th May 2016
Hi
Welcome to the latest Riding Diary Newsletter.

Looking out at the pouring rain on Wednesday I felt so  sorry for the organisers and participants of the Royal Windsor Horse Show - the first day had to be cancelled due to the weather and flooding.

The weather has improved - I hope it stays fit for all of the events planned in the coming weeks.

Lots going on as Spring draws to an end and summer is just around the corner.  The selection of events from the Riding Diary this week include a fun ride raising money for the Susan Ryder Hospice in the Yorkshire Dales and  a Birthday Party Fun Ride in Staffordshire to celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday.

And the organisers of the FUN RIDE around Windsor Great Park  on 22nd May have told me that the event is being filmed for a documentary!

If you are keen to get out and about exploring off-road this year then do take a look at the BHS RIDE OUT UK week and see what is happening near you {more details below}

You can find  details of these events and thousands more on the Riding Diary.  Do you have a special event that you are attending this year?  It would be great to hear about it.  Or have you been to an event recently that stood out for you, do let me know - photos would be good too!

And if you belong to a  riding club or organisation and their events are not on the Riding Diary, please can you get in touch.

Kind regards
Jane

The  BRITISH HORSE SOCIETY’S RIDE OUT UK  -  A week each year is dedicated to the UK’s equestrian routes celebrating the triumphs of paths being restored or saved, raising awareness of off-road riding, getting more riders to enjoy and to applaud the fantastic efforts of the BHS’s UK-wide volunteer team, local authorities and other partners who work to protect, restore and repair all of these networks so that we can enjoy them for many years to come.
