What's new at Concord Carpenter?
I'm writing this newsletter in the Phister Hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Yesterday was Milwaukee tools 2012 media event and tomorrow is Bosch tools media event. This week is one long whirlwind of tools.
As usual Milwaukee Tools did not fail to deliver interesting stuff ans unfortunately the best stuff I cant talk to you about until July...... but don't worry it's worth the wait!
Milwaukee's goal is to focus on developing new products and creating what they call disruptive innovation while focusing on their core users which are electrical, plumbing, HVAC and Maintenance professionals.
Last night I hung around with fellow website publishers. Ten industry related website got together and formed an online tool publishers group. A bunch of us had some fun in this group picture below.
For information on advertising opportunities with this group simply send me an email.

I think I had a little too much fun with this one!
Cool New Milwaukee Products:
Milwaukee M12 Bandsaw
The M12(TM) Cordless Sub-Compact Band Saw was impressive especially since it is only 6.75 lbs and 12" in length.
The M12 band saw is OSHA approved for one hand operation and I couldn't help to think about the shoulder aches this little bad boy will save especially when cutting EMT, 3/8" threaded rod and 1 5/8 Unistrut.
This saw can cut through 3/4" EMT in only 3 seconds, and will deliver over 150 cuts per charge with the included M12(TM) Red Lithium
XC High Capacity battery.
A 1-5/8" x 1-5/8" cut capacity is not huge but this tool is not your heavy duty band saw.

Milwaukee M12 SDS Hammer Drill
You have to see this drill in action to believe it - its designed for the contractor who is installing a ton of fasteners to concrete walls. I was shocked at the power and longevity of this tool More to come!
Job Site Routers
As a renovation carpenter that often finds myself dealing with rotted
window sills on Monday and installing a built in bookcase on Tuesday I
have a myriad of tools and have to be prepared for anything.
Part of that tool arsenal is my job site routers. READ MORE . . .
