What's new at Concord Carpenter?
Goodmorning guys,
This past week we spent installing a sound proofing system in a clients bedroom. My client suffers from migranes and wanted a place she could go that was dark and absolutely quiet.
When you think of sound proofing, most people are looking to absorb sound or dealing with echo & reverberation problems. They mostly do this for home theatres, band rooms or workshops but it can be done to any room.
We used KINETICS Wood-Frame Ceiling Hanger Model ICW to suspend the ceiling and Resilient Sound Isolation Clips on the wall studs. A full article will be on my site February 8th.

Every year we get pretty excited about the World of Concrete because of all the new product releases that happen just prior or during the actual show.
WOC is the industry's only annual international event and concrete conference dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry construction industry.
It also has some really cool and interesting attractions to see, if you're into concrete. The most exciting new releases this year may very well be from Bosch.

ShowCase Your Bathroom Products
This entire month we are planning to take a large over-sized bathroom at the ACC workshop and convert it into two smaller side-by-side full bathrooms.
During this remodeling project we will be showcasing, reviewing and writing abount the entire remodeling process and many of the different products used.
Several of the products we will use will also be chosen and published in a popular trade magazine.
