Hi Guys,
Things are really heating up around here with Spring and Summer project scheduling. One of guys, Josh, is leaving us soon to attend a local police academy, and we wish him a safe and happy law enforcement career!
The search for Joshs' replacement has started and I need a carpenter that also has writing, camera and video skills. I know this can be a tough search but I'm up for the challenge. Know anyone?
While I'm on the topic if you are a PRO contractor and would like to be on my tool review team reply [email] to this newsletter.
Next month we make our annual pilgrimage to Wisconsin to attend the 2013 Milwaukee Tool Media Event. Each year is more fun than the previous and this is definitely one of the "more fun" media events I attend. The folks at Milwaukee are a fun group of tool professionals and they have some kick ass tool to boot!
In anticipation of this trip I will be giving away some Milwauklee tools in the next week or two - stay tuned!!
I am still taking survey responses on my newsletter / website
survey. I really want to stay relevant and responsive to you as well as keep quality on this newsletter.
Finally, this week there are a couple of great reviews on my site
AConcordCarpenter. Check them out if you get the chance!
Bathroom Project: [update]
We're full bore into our "Bathroom Remodel Web-Feeder Project" and were averaging a few videos a week and numerous articles on bathroom remodeling. This project will end in a few weeks and we'll probably look for a similar project for the fall - any suggestions?
Today we are setting the American Standard Eco Silent Tub and making the drain connections. [video soon!] Tomorrow we are meeting with the Basco custom shower glass installer for an interview and to measure for a glass door and wall on top of the half wall.
Lot's of fun stuff happening - watch for new videos this weekend!!!
As many of you may have read in my article,
How To Plan A Bathroom Remodel, it never makes sense to start a remodeling project until you have all the items you need to get the job done. Stay informed!
Father's Day Gift Ideas?
Father's Day this year is June 16th. Many people have asked me if I plan on doing another gift guide. The answer is yes - it's done and up and running on my site.
I plan to add a few more items as the weeks go on and will update you when that happens . . . so before you go out and buy another neck tie for Father's Day, stop and think about what you're guy really wants and needs - it's tools!!!.
Spring: House Spuce UpTips

Adding Curb Appeal
If your concerned about adding some curb appeal to your house you may want to consider the following articles:
Dust Extraction
A good dust control strategy is essential to being a professional contractor and keeping your customer happy throughout a construction project.
I've learned early on that learning how to control remodeling dust by keeping it out of the air and non-remodeled portion of your clients home is often more important than the quality of your work.
Part of any professional project starts with protecting the rest of the house not being remodeled from damaged. This includes having an effective dust control strategy.
Tool Giveaway - Win A Ridgid 7 Inch Tile Saw
The folks at Ridgid are offering one of my newsletter subscribers a chance to win their 7 inch tile saw.
The RIDGID 7 Inch tile Saw is a lightweight, affordable, solid tile saw with durably quality features. In my opinion this saw is serious DIY-er or light duty PRO saw. [ Read my :Tile Saw Review]
As a contractor I use this innovative saw as my go-to saw on small jobs where using a hand cutter is not feasible and carrying and setting up a larger saw is a hassle or space is limited.
