Information on the LENOX Accessories

What is SPEED SLOT?

The LENOX Bi-Metal SPEED SLOT Hole Saw is an all new design that offers fast and easy plug ejection and longer life when cutting holes in wood and metal.

The new design of the SPEED SLOT Hole Saw features a staircase slot for easy plug removal. The slot is wider than most and is placed low on the saw with multiple leverage points to easily eject the plug with a standard screwdriver.

The SPEED SLOT also removes saw dust and chips while cutting to further prevent the plug from getting stuck in the saw. The new design also increases the height of the saw by 10 percent - allowing for quick cuts and plug removal when cutting lumber.

The SPEED SLOT Hole Saw provides up to twice the life as the previous model. The enhanced tooth form, thin kerf design, and advanced coating make cutting more efficient by removing material faster and therefore generating less heat while cutting.

The LENOX SPEED SLOT Hole Saw is available at plumbing, electrical and construction distributors nationwide. The sizes range from 9/16" to 6".

What is the T2 Reciprocating Saw Blade all about?

T2 Technology saw blades deliver 100% longer blade life and 25% faster cutting compared to the previous generation of LENOX Demolition & Wood reciprocating saw blades.

In addition these blades are the widest blades in the demolition category and provide maximum durability and control when cutting through the toughest construction materials. T2 Technology blades also have optimized tooth geometry for each Tooth Per Inch (TPI) blade specification. Each TPI has a unique tooth shape and set pattern to minimize friction and cut more efficiently.

Less friction prevents excessive heat build-up which in-turn eliminates the conditions that lead to rapid tooth wear and premature blade failure. Ultimately, the patent-pending T2 design leads to higher levels of productivity by allowing tradesmen to spend more time cutting and less time changing blades.

T2 Wood Blades also get upgraded with the patent pending T2 Technology. The LENOX T2 Wood cutting reciprocating saw blades have a tooth geometry that lasts longer and cuts faster in nail-embedded wood. Additionally, the 6-inch wood cutting blade has a new plunge cutting tooth design on the tip of the blade that makes plunge cuts faster and easier.

T2 Technology, a proprietary LENOX technology, is available across the entire bi-metal reciprocating saw blade line.  All metal, wood and demolition cutting blades deliver 100% longer blade life and 25% faster cutting compared to the previous generation of LENOX reciprocating saw blades.

The patented design minimizes friction and heat build-up while cutting through the widest variety of materials, and the bi-metal construction prevents the blade from shattering; making the blade flexible and durable.

LENOX features a best-in-class product offering that will meet all of your needs whether it is cutting small diameter metal pipe, large pieces of structural steel, or nail-embedded wood.
