What's new at Concord Carpenter

Hi Guys,

This week was a tough one for me.  I said goodbye to my aunt.  She passed this Friday after watching her suffer and linger on for several weeks.  Cancer sucks!

On the carpentry front were putting the finishing touches on the telescope dome addition.  The actual dome is due to arrive on November 1st and the telescope a few weeks after.  Check out our photo album on Face Book.

We are still searching for a new carpenter to join our team.  Know anyone?

On the ACC website front we've been busy creating great content articles and video reviews.

Breast Cancer Awareness:

Did you know that Milwaukee Tools has partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc?

The NBCF's mission is to save lives through early detection.  In tribute Milwaukee released a new heated jacket for women that features a tailored fit for ladies, and incorporates pink details and is badged with the famous pink ribbon logo to showcase the company's partnership with this life-saving organization.

Installing a Pet Door:

Last weekend Phil and I installed an Endura Flap Pet Door for our Concord Carpenter Cable Show.

I have never installed a pet door before so this was a first ... and we were being filmed doing it.  Yikes!!

Photo below is CCTV Concord Carpenter Producer Susan Merlino.

Watch for an article and video on the website on "How to install a pet door."   Also check out our Face Book album on this installation.

We had fun doing this project and were curious if the two resident dog would use it.  Well I'm glad to report that they are both happily using it.  Mission success!

Milwaukee M18 Sawzall Giveaway

The folks at Milwaukee Tool recently introduced their new Milwaukee Cordless M18 FUEL circular saw that actually has the power to compete with a corded reciprocating saw.

Cutting the cord is a goal for the engineers and Product Managers at Milwaukee and to show the readers of Concord Carpenter their appreciation they are offering one of my newsletter subscribers a chance to win one.

Winner will be announced on my October 27th.
