The weather here in the North East is starting to warm up and I've noticed that there are thousands of small green caterpillars everywhere.
These caterpillars are the off spring of the Winter Moth. If you live in Canada or the East Coast you may remember last November and December that there were swarms of moths flying around.
These moths have created a new
generation of caterpillars that are on the rampage, eating away within the
swelling leaf buds of trees and fruit bushes.
We decided it was a good time to share with you folks how to save your prize winning trees and bushes from these voracious, leaf eating, eating caterpillars. Read More

Carpenter's Tip
When I see a project where the carpenter took the time and effort to
install wood plugs I automatically thing "quality."
As a carpenter I've seen wood railings installed with screws and
finish nails. Typically the railing is fastened to the post by toe-nailing or
installing screws at an angle - Here's a better way!
