June is starting to be a busy month for us at Concord Carpenter.
Friday carpenter Phil B and I attended a "Fall Arrest" training put on by the folks at Werner Ladder Company. It's a good thing I've had children already because those harnesses can really hurt you - during a fall.
Phil B - "Hanging Around."
Not all harnesses are the same and we will use our new training to do research on a "fall arrest" harness and gear article. Stay tuned!!
Saturday my oldest child graduated high school and will be attending Elon University in NC in the fall. Two sisters will follow his lead, spread apart two years!
For our sons graduation party we rented a dunk tank. It was a huge hit with the kids and a first for my wife and I - we can check that off the list!
This Sunday the 22nd the Concord Carpenter Crew will set up our "training barn" and performing a "dry run" for our
Build America [BAM] training.
On June 24th we will be receiving the $12,000 in tool donations from Dewalt, Milwaukee and Stanley to present to the BAM team!
The BAM training will happen on June 27-28th and the ACC Crew will continue to follow the BAM team as they travel south, over the next six weeks, working with and helping people with disabilities.
Cordless Lawn Mower Head-2-Head Tesing
Cordless Lawn Mowers are quickly taking over the lawn and gardens section in stores, we tested several of the leading brands and find out who makes the best Cordless Lawn Mower.
Why did we test cordless mowers?
Cordless Lawn Mowers are being touted for being quieter, odorless, and
nearly maintenance free. Many of our readers have asked for this comparison so Todd Fratzel, from ToolBoxBuzz.com, and I spent a weekend testing.
