No one else can be your healer, they can guide you and support but YOU are the only one that can heal you.  And here is one of my healing moments! 

Once upon a time……

I was the demo for a sacred spot massage during a Tantra Teacher Training course. 

The masterful giver created the space with candles, sage, incantations, love and compassion,  all the things…..

There were about 40 students surrounding the demo space. 

As I entered into the temple space, I felt a twinge of nervousness. That quickly dissipated as I looked up to meet Charles’s eyes.. He held the gaze and those students faded away and all that mattered was this moment. 

I felt held. 

I felt understood.

I felt the love of all the Universe. 

It was a moment of deep surrender, love and compassion. 

He guided me onto the session bed and we began the process from this place of deep reverence and honoring.

Flash to before the session……

Class was dismissed for lunch. We were walking to the lunch spot and talking amongst ourselves. I don’t remember what I said---- I do remember someone saying “Lisa, your mind is always in the gutter.”  Arrrrggg I felt that annoyance wrap around me. I felt irritated, frustrated, judged and unaccepted. Bleck, Bleck, Bleck…...

Back to the Demo Session….

As we progressed, Charles would talk to the class and give instructions-- I never felt like he left me. I always felt completely with him as the session progressed. 

There came a moment when I was going into a memory….

Intuitively he saw it and asked. “Lisa, how old are you?”

I said, “5”

He asked, “ Who is that with you?”

I smiled, a tear welling in my eye, “my dad”

That was all it took and I went deeper into the  memory without sharing any words.

You see, when I was 5 years old, it was raining. Really hard. 

I got my galoshes, raincoat, umbrella and ran outside to play in the waters raging in the gutters. My mother watching from the window.  I can see her smiling at me as I write this. 

My father came home and said, “what are you doing?” 

I smiled and said, “Come on dad, let's explore this wild river!”

He picked me up and told me I had to wait so he could get his gear.  He quickly went into the house and was out lickty split with all his rain gear on. 

We went into that wild, crazy river -- that was really the gutter-- and splashed and played and laughed for what felt like an eternity. 

And so you see, I HEALED this angst that I got when someone says “Lisa your mind is always in the gutter!” regardless of their meaning…. 

The meaning and memory I cherish holds so much more than anyone can ever understand.

I was able to go to that space to collect a memory that helps me understand me even better. 

No one gave that to me.

No one else healed me. 

Charles held space for me to discover that sweet memory and to heal myself.

And now I help others on their healing paths. 

The Yoni Egg practice is one of those paths that I guide women on. Through the use of Yoni Eggs you can discover a whole world of memories that we often keep locked within our sacred spot. 

Here’s a Passionate reminder…. It is not always trauma and it doesn’t have to be…. Sweet memories exist there too.

Lisa is an amazing teacher! I left class feeling totally connected with my pelvic floor and confident in my ability to do the exercises at home. She created sacred space and answered questions in a clear and concise manner. Learning the techniques, and really, basic anatomy Lisa teaches in the "Exploring the Pelvic Floor" classes should be required learning for women, men, and anyone who want to please them. Our society places so much shame and taboo on the female parts and pleasure, it's refreshing to learn and learn to love my yoni.  We all deserve to feel the amazing potential that is inside each of us. This class was transformational for me and helped me realize and learn so many things! ALL WOMEN should take this class!
