Hello , This does not often happen to me, but last week it did.
I had a major invasion of tech gremlins, so that the link you received to confirm your consent to keep in touch with me did not work.
Many apologies for that. And I'm pretty confident I have traced the problem now and fixed it.
So here's what I said last week, and the link is correct now! I've highlighted it below.
You may be aware that on 25 May 2018, certain legal changes will come into effect concerning data protection and privacy.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (or GDPR as it is more commonly known), I am required, as
are all businesses that hold your personal data, to provide you with certain information in relation to the lawful grounds for my ongoing processing of your personal data.
In order to fulfil that obligation, I have put together a new privacy notice that clearly sets out how I collect and process your personal data, for what purposes I use your data, the legal grounds of processing such data, how I keep your data secure and your rights in relation to such data.
Please read my privacy notice on my website under the page 'Documents'. In relation to my direct marketing communications sent by email, you have previously opted in to receive such communications.
However, I would like you to confirm that you would still like to receive such communications and provide me with more details about what you would like to
receive so that I can tailor my communications for you. Please go to my new sign up
form and tick the relevant boxes within it to give that consent. (Remember to check your spam folder, especially if you use a Hotmail
address, as you will get a couple of follow up emails.)
Otherwise I won't be able to contact you again after 25th May, unless you sign up again
separately after that.
