, I hope you had a wonderful(and restful maybe?) holiday season!
In 2017, the Nursing Education Expert website will be packed with information and resources that you won't want to miss. I'm just getting started with evidence-based practice (EBP) content and I'm working on in-depth
posts/podcasts/videos with helpful tips for your practice. Coming in January, I'll talk about the third major construct of EBP: What Does "Patient Preferences" Mean in Evidence-Based Practice?
You may have noticed a new topic category on the Blog, labeled Career Advice -- I'm providing answers to questions I've been asked,
at the beginning of every month. If you have a question about your nursing career, send it to me!
School is starting again, so I'll post information and free resources related to writing scholarship that will help undergraduate and graduate students and nurses who want to publish. Topics will include how to's for: writing a literature review or an
annotated bibliography, on APA style, and how not to plagiarize for a start. More posts about scholarship, in general, and leadership to come.
Nursing theory and nursing research basics seem to be a big draw on the website, especially by nursing students -- I'll add some posts and additional
resources in these areas too.
And of course, I'll continue adding in productivity and work-life balance (or work-life integration) topics -- everyone can use that information, student or not!
I want to produce resources that are of value to you, so let me know what topics you'd like to see on the website.
