Hi !

School has started again.  Every time I went to school, I was working full time (as a staff nurse, unit teacher, and then as university faculty). I was raising a family, involved in nursing organizations, in the choir, writing for publication -- so many responsibilities!

When I became a faculty member, I still had to juggle family and social life with my teaching, research, service, and scholarship obligations.

Whether you are in school for your first degree, back in school, teaching, caring for patients, conducting research,  raising your family, volunteering, or all of the above, I know You can relate.

Every year, I promise myself that I am going to be more organized and focused than I was in the last year. But in the past, I was so busy, that I thought I didn't have time to really learn about how to be more productive and focused.

I couldn't have been more wrong!

I have finally learned the secrets to greater work focus and I know you will benefit from knowing these too!

So I just wanted to quickly remind you that I have some great posts and a free handout to help you learn techniques that will help you focus the time you've scheduled for homework or work projects and get your work done -- so that you have time for Life!

Honestly, if I had put into place the tips I shared with you in my recent posts on productivity strategies and how to create new work habits, I would have been much less stressed as a student and as a faculty member!

Good work habits will save you time and make you more effective. I use these strategies now to help me to focus and I know they will help you!

So check these out if you haven't already!
