Rose Parade Bandit Run - 4:30 AM

If you'd like to run the Rose Parade route, get a close-up view of the floats, have a drink at Lucky Baldwin, and see the Stealth Bomber fly over, then you need to be in Pasadena on Wednesday morning.

Sole Runners Annual Hike to Del Cerro - 8 AM

Join LeAnn and other Sole Runners for a brisk walk/hike/run to the top of Del Cerro. Beautifuyl views and a great start to the year.

San Pedro Polar Bear Plunge - 11:30 AM

Join Sole Runner Kate (and a bunch of other crazies) for a dip in the ocean to start the new year. Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro. Afterwards, you can get your picture taken with King Neptune.

SATURDAY IS A RECOVERY RUN - 1 HOUR FOR ALL

Saturday, January 4th, is an Active Recovery Week. Everyone will run 1 hour together followed by yoga (if its not raining).

We will meet at 8 AM.

The New Years Race in downtown Los Angeles this Sunday night is the last one. I don't know what happened, but they're advertising that this is the last race after 8 years.

Catalina Marathoners...If it's not raining on January 12th, I am going to run the Boney Mountain Half to get ready for Catalina. It's the closest thing to Catalina here on the mainland. (Which is to say, a tough race.) I won't decide until that week...so I'll have to pay top dollar. But you might think about running with me.
