Our "Storytelling Basics in 8 Hours," already winning the Storytelling World Award, has now officially become nationally-accredited through the National Storytelling Network. Reviewers helped us polish our course, allowed us to ponder some deep questions, and now we are listed with others who are accredited. What an honor!

Is it really the 8th year? Every April is the A to Z Blog Challenge that anyone can do. We learned about it from storyteller Csenge Zalka and have participated ever since. With 15 professional story artists, 3 professors, and 3 civic leaders for our "State of the Art" addresses - we are excited to put it mildly. We have added new elements such as our "Bite-sized Story Education Pieces" of 30-minute presentations of storytelling elements in literary and historical worlds. We have a virtual workshop of "Storytelling in the Classroom" geared for our teachers who are joining us for in-person and virtual field trips.

On March 12, 2022, Karla Huntsman shared how the Laban Movement Analysis could be adapted for the voice with an enthusiastic bunch. You can order any of the past workshops at the All Things Story series webpage (scroll to bottom).

 

On March 24, 2022, Jan C. Smith and Cassie Ashton each represented eight women (16 total!) for "Women of the Mormon Battlion." We were moved by this 58th house concert and the everyday life in the marching or the waiting. The weather was cool yet warm for being early spring.
