"Thank you so much for all of your help! We're not 100% there yet, but it is definitely a huge improvement on where we were. Matilda sleeps all night in her cot now and only has 2 feeds a night. Compared to 6+ feeds and most of the night asleep in my
arms, I am ecstatic (and much more rested!). We wouldn't be here without your encouragement and advice.
You have been a godsend and I am so happy I invested in your program. Worth every penny!!"

Q: I have a 15 month old boy. My boy goes to bed between 7:30-8:00pm and wakes up at about 6-6:30am. He naps right now once a day could be anywhere between 11am-1pm. His nap during the
day lately is no more than an hour. I feel like he should be sleeping more hours at night and/or taking a longer nap during the day. But I am not sure. And sometimes lately he is awake until 9pm or 10pm and I do not know why. I want to get him on a better sleep and nap schedule. And lately he has been waking up 1-2 times a night off and on for the past 2 months and he was not before. I need some sleep help. Any tips would be greatly
appreciated.
Thank you for your help,
Danielle C.
A: Hi Danielle! At 15 months old, most toddlers are sleeping 10-12 hours at night and 2-3 hours during the day for a total of about 13 hours in a 24-hour period, on average. The best indicators to tell you if your son is getting enough sleep
is his mood and behavior. Toddlers who aren't getting enough sleep are often more irritable and may have more tantrums. If you feel confident your son needs more sleep, his schedule may be an issue. Be sure to review our recommended toddler schedules here: https://www.babysleepsite.com/schedules/toddler-schedule/ Good luck!

Hello,
You know, when my husband and I were going through our sleep challenges with my oldest son, it was always so hard to hear or read about all these babies that "got it" in 3 nights. What was I doing wrong? Why couldn't I just get "it" right? I used to wonder to myself, "Am I a failure?" Well, now that I'm on the sleep consulting end of things, I hear those same words from many of my clients
- "I just feel like a failure.”
Can you relate? If so, I am here to tell you that if all babies just "got it" in 3 nights, The Baby Sleep Site® wouldn't even exist! My son would have gotten it quickly, and so would your baby. Now, working with thousands of parents, it is both saddening and comforting to know that there are plenty of families just like mine (and just like yours!) whose babies simply need a more
personalized, detailed approach to sleep coaching. ;-)
I hope reading through our weekly newsletter has helped you realize that you are not alone, and that there is hope, and a light at the end of the tunnel. Forward this to a friend, so they know they're not alone, either!
Until next week,
