"Thanks for your highly informative and comprehensive email. I loved how personal it was to Malou and relevant to our situation.
Already we have seen some massive improvements in Malou's quality of sleep. She is waking up at 6:30-7am quite consistently and having two long naps (over an hour!) in the day followed by one cat nap (30 mins) at the end of the day.
The schedule works really well for us and the nap gaps are working absolutely perfectly. They have been handy to use when our schedule gets out of rhythm, as these are usually the times when things would spiral out of control for us.
It's still early days, but I must say that Malou is responding quickly and positively to the sleep training. She is self settling at night *and* during naps and she *loves* the nap routine.
Thanks again, and we will keep you posted on how we go!"

Q: Hello, I have a 6 month old little girl. When it's time to sleep at night we have a problem. I breastfeed her and after i have to rock her in my arms to fall asleep. Also, we had some good weeks when she woke up just twice a night, but from a week she wakes up many times at night. I try not to feed her I give her her pacifier. Usually she goes back to sleep, but I would like to
get there that she goes to sleep by herself and she doesn't weak up at night at all. What can I do? I need your advice because I need better sleep and my little girl too.
A. You're not alone! Many babies have sleep associations that need to be recreated many times a night. Your daughter is associating rocking and breastfeeding with sleep. The key is to change or eliminate sleep associations and teach her a new way to fall asleep and back to sleep throughout the night. We have many resources just for this including over 250 blog posts, e-Books, and sleep plans. Every situation is unique, so finding a
personalized approach for your daughter is key. If you need help locating the right resource for you, please consider e-mailing us or booking a free 15-minute evaluation. We're here to help!

Hello,
I was thinking lately about an email I received a while back that made me thankful for my job! I had been working with a lovely family for a little less than a week (the parents purchased a 2-week unlimited email package). This family had a little 3-month old daughter at home, and were at the end of their rope. Their daughter is what some would call a "fussy baby" all the
time.
Well, get this - after just four days of working through the Personalized Sleep Plan®, mom let me know that her daughter was doing incredibly well, and that - much to their delight - she had been happy and content for an entire day, for the first time in her young life! Talk about a gift not only for her parents, but for her, too!
I want to remind you that you're not selfish for wanting to improve your baby's sleep. So often, chronic sleep deprivation has a terrible effect on your child's disposition - even the sweetest baby can turn fussy due to exhaustion (not to mention you)! Keep this in mind, if you're thinking about sleep coaching: helping your child learn to sleep better is one way to get your happy, sweet
baby or toddler back. ;-)
I hope reading through our weekly newsletter has helped you realize that you are not alone, and that there is hope, and a light at the end of the tunnel. Forward this to a friend, so they know they're not alone, either!
Until next week,
