Book review: "It is packed with practical editing tips and tricks as well as career building gems of wisdom. It is well written and well edited, which (sadly) gives it a huge leg up over many other books on film editing out there, and, most importantly, it is funny."

(video) "Making flexible and reusable motion graphics is challenging. You need to be able to adjust and position elements from the edit page, animations should stretch to the final length of the timeline segment and your effects should work for every resolution and aspect ratio."

(video) "Emulating film is one of the most common tasks you can undertake as a colorist, pretty much no matter what type of videos you're coloring. The better you know film, the better you can emulate it."

The headline says it all.

If you like keeping up with trends in display manufacturing, this article gives you bits like this: "Although QD has got the headlines, phosphor makers have continued to develop the materials and GE has a new green that will help to get to 100% of DCI-P3 and AdobeRGB." It's a good primer going into 2022.

(video) From MrAlexTech: "We talk Specs, AMD Ryzen 5950x, Nvidia RTX 3090 and put it to the test in Davinci Resolve and even see how it runs a handful of games!"

A good analysis of the current Apple Silicon and how Apple will need to solve RAW image processing for the workstation crowd.

"One interesting piece of information about Panasonic’s VR Glasses is that they offer Inter-Pupillary Distance (IPD) and diopter adjustment options, which has been a key request from users in new models of VR headsets." But to my eyes, these still look silly.
