Issue CDLXXXVIII: The Identity Protection Edition
The Tao of Color Grading Newsletter
Curated links of news, reviews, thoughts, career advice, and humor for professional Video / Film Colorists & Finishers. Delivered Sundays.
From The Publisher
Somehow, during a holiday-shortened work week, I managed to put in 60 hours. If you shared stories with me for inclusion you can expect them to show up in next week's edition. I don't think I've cracked open my email client since a week ago Friday!

That means fewer stories this week. And more time for you to get out and enjoy your day.

Happy Grading!

I'll see you next Sunday.
(and remember - if you have a story that's a fit for this Newsletter, hit reply or email it to '[email protected]'! Include a quick reason for the suggested link.)

"Ryan Laney ... recently completed work on the documentary feature Welcome to Chechnya where he worked with the filmmakers to develop and employ a novel technique to protect identities ... As a result of his work and achievements, this week Laney joined the Academy as one of its newest members." Very interesting.

Sunday Fun(nies)
Random thoughts, tidbits, and fun stuff that caught my attention this week. Maybe it's color grading related. Maybe not. Ya got'ta read to the end of the Newsletter to find out.

This definitely looks like a fun summer project that doesn't require you to be stuck indoors in a neutrally colored windowless room.

Th- th- th- that's all folks! I'll see you in next Sunday.
