A few weeks ago, the topic of my 10-Question Process came up in one of my classes. As I explained it, a number of my students expressed an interest in learning more about
it.
I first developed the 10-Question Process back in 2010, basing it on the intake process I learned during my NLP training years ago.
Like most of the processes I teach, it is a combination of my training, my personal experience and
that with clients, and the way my own brain works.
As I'm sure you can tell by the name, the process is ten questions you can ask yourself before starting work towards any goal. The questions are designed to help you to gain clarity about what you want, and what you don't. They also help you to figure out your next best steps and what you need to do to achieve the
success you want.
But that's not all...
The 10-Question Process isn't just the ten questions. Each question is designed to unearth emotional resistances that are related to the answers to each
question. This means you have ten questions to help clarify your next step plus the keys to finding the emotional resistance behind the answers.
As you work your way through the questions, you will know what to do next AND also identify what emotional barriers are in the way of taking action. That combination means you can clear any resistance to taking action and move
decisively towards achieving your goals.
You can use the process for something as small as deciding the best way to reorganize a room, or as big as if you should change careers.
It is designed for self-directed work OR you can lead someone
else through the process.
The questions are organized in such a way that if someone came to you for help and advice, you could simply ask the ten questions, doing nothing more.
Not only would they feel better, but they would come away with
some clarity on how to move forward and more confidence to take action. (They will also walk away from the conversation thinking you are rather brilliant!)
In addition to teaching you how to use the process, the program includes a short audio training for each of the ten questions. This will allow you to understand the reasoning behind each question and how to get the
most out of it.
