![]() Belgium, Brazil, Czechia, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and the United States. We're glad you're here! ![]() Hello, and welcome to the last issue of our Tarot Tips newsletter in 2022! As we reach the end of another year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on where we are and where we want to go. As is probably the case for many of us, 2022 has been a mixed bag. Personally, this year has presented us with losses and health challenges, but also with new friends, and surprising insights and breakthroughs. We've just celebrated the 2nd Anniversary of our virtual Tarot Salons, which have been growing more and more powerful. And we've got big plans for next year and have made a good start on bringing them into the world. There's an energetic contradiction that happens at this time of year. The holiday schedule urges us outward into the world. Our days and nights can be filled with social gatherings and activities. But here in the Northern Hemisphere, the dark months draw us inward. It's a time that nature tells us to slow down and be quiet. The tension that results from these opposite impulses can leave us feeling anxious and ungrounded. When that happens, Tarot can help us with a little self-care. Take some time to contemplate this 3-card spread. Draw three cards and lay them in a horizontal row: Card #1 on the Left: What is finally time to let go of? Card #2 in the Middle: How can I center myself in this moment? Card #3 on the Right: What can I happily look forward to? May this reading support you during the days ahead as we move toward a new year. Whether you're in a celebratory mood or just need to take this time for yourself, we send you our fondest wishes for a peaceful close to 2022, and a magical, prosperous, and healthy 2023! And one more thing...

by Cynthia Ray, CTP The Magician stands in a sunny garden, performing his work in the open where everyone can see the results. On the other hand, the work of The High Priestess is done in the dark, unseen in the outer world. Paul Foster Case referred to her as the Master of Darkness, meaning she rules the activities of the subconscious, the darkness where the hidden light dwells. In the RWS deck, The High Priestess sits in front of a veil patterned with palms and pomegranates, representing potential fertility; the palms are phallic, and the pomegranates with their seeds reminding us of the seeds within ovaries. This potential fertility refers to both the physical and spiritual process of conception. Conception is a process that takes place in the dark realm of The High Priestess, happening in the gentle dark of the womb, or the dark of our subconscious, both represented by the beautiful High Priestess. Recent discoveries in the conception process reveal new ways to understand how conception occurs. I had always heard it described as a race by millions of sperm to reach the egg, with one victorious, alpha sperm penetrating the egg and fertilizing it. The truth is very different. As the sperm travel, the vaginal walls enfold some of the sperm in pockets, and then release them a few at a time. The sperm can live in these pockets up to 10 days, released over time, upping the chances of fertilization. Not only that, there is evidence that the egg actually chooses which sperm to allow fertilization. Wow! This shows us that instead of the vagina and egg being passive recipients, they are an integral participant in the fertilization process. What a beautiful, wonderful dance. For me, this discovery was a hopeful sign that as the consciousness of the planet moves away from entrenched patriarchal, mechanistic views of the world we are discovering more evidence of the reciprocal dance between the feminine/masculine energies within us, and within creation. We have the potential to come into balance. Applying this hidden principle to our own spiritual lives, we can see that when seed ideas enter our minds/souls, these “seeds of light” may be held within our subconscious by The High Priestess, to be released slowly over time. She waits for a time when conditions are conducive to our receiving them, upping the chances they will blossom and bear fruit in our lives. Have you ever read or heard something many times, and then one day the light goes on and you understand? You wonder why it never made sense before; the truth remained hidden in plain sight until you were ready to receive it. That is the hidden work of The High Priestess. RITUAL CLEANSING: BATHS
![]() Warm water, candles, soap, bubbles..ahh! These are the ingredients for a nice bath to soak away the stress of the day. Bathing for social and relaxation purposes brings to mind the ancient Greek and Roman bath houses. The art of ritual bathing for psychological and medicinal purposes goes even further back when ancestors intentionally turned to lakes, rivers and natural hot springs for healing purposes. Bathing is an indulgence of the senses, not only to bring relief to the body but also to focus the mind for problem solving rituals. Ritual baths are used to incorporate a physical component for finding relief from blocked conditions, attain goals, draw success and increase the potency of your ritual. There are a variety of ways that spiritual baths and products can be used, including oils, herbs, salts and crystals. Liquids used for bath and floor washes can be found in a pre-mixed variety of colors and strengths. In its most practical use, ritual baths set the tone for cleansing, purification, and removal of imbalances. Ritual baths are important for the emotional and mental state of the practitioner. There are two ways to take a ritual bath: One is to mix the ingredients in a container or bucket, setting the intention while mixing. After a cleaning soap bath or shower, take the container and pour the concoction over your entire head and body, then air drying. The second way is to fill your tub or bath with tap water and add in the ingredients selected for the ritual intention. It is suggested to fully immerse your body in a ritual “dip” a few times. You can also take a small bowl and pour the water over your head and body. The temperature of the water should be comfortable and care should be taken when using oils when getting in and out of a bathtub. Using large amounts of herbs, salts or crystals could clog plumbing, so be careful to strain herbal mixture into a tea before adding it to your bath. Candles, soft music and incense can add a nice touch to the bathing ritual. An Excellent Resource: Self Love Time! MAKING THE MOST OF TWITTER
FOR SMALL BUSINESS By Gina Thies www.tarotadvisor.com / www.facebook.com/tarotreaders www.tarotcoupling.com / www.oraclesoup.org Twitter and its recent purchase by Elon Musk have received so much attention, and will for some time to come. In recent weeks, Twitter, Facebook parent company Meta, and other tech companies have announced hiring freezes and layoffs. Given that the “future” was all about technology, it is odd for tech companies to be having such woes. In the case of Twitter’s acquisition, I have heard everything from it being an unwise business decision, a political move, to Musk’s stance on freedom of speech. The issue with social media is who or what is really posting and replying to posts. Twitter utilizes bots. Bots have caused a lot of issues for Twitter. What is a Twitter bot? It is a software program that sends out automated posts on Twitter. In some cases, these automated posts are tweets and /or automatic responses to user messages that include specific phrases. Recent studies claim that Twitter is losing its most active users, saying that the challenge is to keep users engaged. This would be a problem for attracting advertisers. Tweeting is best used as platform for socializing, information and entertainment. With all the changes, it will be difficult to predict if Twitter helps your business or not. You can use Twitter to your business’s advantage by using it for immediate response to client issues. You can also use Twitter to keep your audience engaged by catering to your audience's visual and auditory senses. We do love to see and hear things. For best results, engage an expert in SEO and marketing to help with statistics and where to concentrate your efforts.
