Hi there Happy Friday! We made it. Sometimes that first week back after the
holidays can be a bit tough. I get it. Thank goodness for the weekends! This weekend we're pretty excited about a big football game here in Wisconsin. The Green Bay Packers play the Detroit Lions Sunday night. It's a big game! We're not going but you can bet we'll be watching. I'm already planning my game day spread.
My Chili Cheese Dip is the perfect appetizer for game day. It's ALWAYS a winner! Just 3 ingredients. You can make it ahead and bake it when you're ready. You know me. I'm all
about make-aheads. Warm out of the oven with tortilla chips or my FAVE Fritos Scoops, it's AMAZING!
Besides a really good dip, a big messy sandwich is a must for game day get togethers. Get out your slow cooker and make my Hot Beef Sandwiches this weekend. This is one of my most popular recipes. We LOVE it and it makes me happy you love it too! I get a big chuck roast or even two. That way we have leftovers. I serve it on buns for the game. Later in the week, I heat it up and serve it for dinner over mashed potatoes too.

hearty but healthy. Easy too! Just throw it all in your slow cooker. When you come home after a long day, dinner is done and the house smells so good! Go ahead and have seconds because it's good for you. Perfect for game day too!
I never by the blue box stuff any more. My homemade cornbread is so much better. Makes a big batch too!
