I hope you had a great week! We've had some crazy weather here in Wisconsin.  We set a record high of 70 degrees Tuesday and 

then the next morning I woke up to snow and below zero windchills.  Just nuts!   

I'm dreaming of spring! I can't wait to go back to Charleston! It's one of my favorites cities and so gorgeous in spring! 

Besides cooking up fun, easy recipes, I also plan very special group vacations!

 Join me in Charleston  for 4 fabulous days May 2-6th! I've reserved the cutest boutique hotel for us in the perfect location! From shrimp ands grits to Carolina BBQ! We'll eat the best southern food! We'll take a carriage ride and a walking tour to learn all about the history or Charleston.  

Plus, we'll be there to watch the Kentucky Derby and a local hot spot.  I'm on a mission to find the perfect Derby hat! This trip is filled with so much southern charm!  Just a few rooms left! So what are you waiting for? Join in the fun!

I know many of you are interested in going with me to Italy!  My annual Trip to Italy in September is now sold out but I'm working very on adding a 2nd trip to Italy this year! I'll also be going back to Italy in 2025! Stay tuned for more on that trip!

It's a soup kind of weekend! In the winter I usually make a big batch or two of soup every week.  A mug of warm soup on a cold winter day just makes me happy! This Cheesy Broccoli Soup is one of my favorites!  It's soup-er easy too! Just throw all the ingredients together in your crockpot and in a few hours soup's on!

When I make soup I gotta make my Beer Bread too! I'm not a bread maker, but anyone can make this bread!  It's a quick bread so you don't need to knead it or let it rise.  It's 4 ingredients! The secret is self-rising flour and a can of beer.   I always keep self rising flour in my pantry so I can whip up this bread in no time.  Warm out of the oven with butter, it's heavenly! Don't have self-rising flour, no worries!  Check out my recipe and I'll tell you what you need to add to your regular all purpose flour. Why not bake bread this weekend! It makes the house smell so good! This bread is the perfect last minute side dish and it costs next to nothing! Great for St. Paddy's Day too! 

You either love it or hate it.  I'm a lover!  

Sometimes I crave my Terrific Tuna Casserole!  We don't have it very often but man, is it good!  My recipe is really creamy and has loads of flavor.  Plus I put crunchy potato chips on top too! 

It's been awhile.  I've missed you! I'm making you this weekend! Bring it on!

Sometimes a cheesy warm toasty sandwich is just want you need. These open face Cheesy Baked Shrimp Sandwiches  are AMAZING!   They are perfect for Lent.  So yummy with my crazy easy shortcut Two Ingredient Tomato Soup.

For dessert, if you haven't made my Triple Chocolate Mess yet, you need too!  It's one of my MOST POPULAR recipes! It's so easy and crazy delicious!  You make it in your crockpot.  It's not a cake, so don't overcook it.  It should be a bit soupy.  

I serve it warm spooned in in bowls with vanilla ice cream on top.

My kids used to beg me to make this on the weekends! I always made it when for slumber parties. Make this and you will look like a total rockstar! LOVE THAT!

Speaking of kids.  Get those kids and grandkids  in the kitchen this winter!
