Teaching of Talking National Tour and Status Report

Published: Sat, 05/21/16

Greetings Teaching of Talking Friends,

I hope this note finds you well.  During the last 8 weeks we have been busy writing and producing  more educational materials for caregivers of both those with aphasia and for parents of children who have considerable difficulty talking.

We are coming out with more information that will help others realize the importance of around the clock speech and language stimulation for those with aphasia and children, since conventional speech and language therapy can not provide the intensity and repetition that is needed for long term results, especially for those with moderate to profound speaking difficulties.  We are teaching caregivers and parents how to help their loved ones at home in all of the activities of daily living, and it can be done throughout the day, everyday 24/7/365/forever.  Also there are so many people throughout the world who just do not have access to skilled care due to caps, therapy limits, or scarcity of providers.  I will be releasing the video training course soon and also will be sending you new reports and information that will help you.

We are leaving Las Vegas today and will be heading for Utah, to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park and then will be heading up towards Provo, Salt Lake City and then into Wyoming to the Tetons and then Yellowstone National Park. From there we will head up into Montana. We will be touring and seeing the country while also making stops to share the Teaching of Talking with families and aphasia groups.

Please let us know if you would like to meet up with us on this next leg of our trip.We are also available to visit with hospitals, schools, or special interest groups who deal with aphasia, or speech and language delay with children.   teachingoftalking.com  If you would like to schedule a meeting just e mail me at [email protected]
